2023 saw Juleigh expand in ways never seen before. Juleigh continues to navigate the world of advocacy as she strikes out to continue to educate many in the world about what it means to live in an intersex life!
In 2023 her popular webcast “Rose All Day, Juleigh’s A mess!” relocated from Tuesdays to Sundays and is now a subset of What it’s like to navigate Dating in a metropolitan city. Her new podcast is called “Rose All Day- Optimistic in Orlando” Each week Juleigh along with her witty and engaging Co-host Rebecca Davis from Savannah discuss what it means to Date in your 40’s while navigating the many pitfalls of the Online world, they provide tips and tricks to become successful at this charade of what is now a part of society! Juleigh also was asked to participate in a promotional campaign for the Julie Cohen directed Focus Features film release of “Everybody” This film follows 3 Intersex advocates journey and aims to bring attention to the subject of Intersex. It can be streamed on Amazon Prime. Juleigh was asked to partner with TikTok and her 1 minute video was streamed over 20 million times!! Also ,Juleigh Participated in 2 Pride festivals representing the Intersex community and justJuleigh.com. Juleigh was asked to be a part of Birmingham Alabama’s Pride festival and Parade in June. This was a HOMECOMING. watershed experience as Juleigh is from Alabama and was honored to be asked to return! She even was able to hang out with Ophelia Nichols better known to many as “Momma Tot on TT. Juleigh, then also participated in Orlando Florida’s Come Out with Pride in October. In the Orlando Festival she had a chance to screen the film mentioned above to the LGBTQIA Family as well as ride in their parade and also attend the Florida Equality Gala. Her “Love and Lemonade” Dress was a showstopper for sure!! Please see photos below.
In August, Juleigh appeared in “Love , Loss and What I Wore” a Play by Nora Ephron at the Savannah Readers Theatre. It was a one night only show and sold out! Way to go, Juleigh.!!
It’s been a fantastical 2023 for sure over here. To round out the year Juleigh was asked to appear on The Dr. Wendy Walsh Show on IHeart Radio 640am KFI. Dr. Wendy Walsh mentioned Juleigh on a previous episode and told the world that she has followed Juleigh for years on TikTok. Dr. Wendy Walsh is a leading expert on Relationship advice while also teaching Gender studies at a California university. She gushes about Juleigh and calls her a HERO! One of Juleigh’s fans reached out to us here and we were able to make contact with Dr. Walsh! Her episode can be found on IHEART radio on Demand. The show aired on December 31st, 2023. What a GREAT Way to finish 2023 and roll into 2024! We look forward to many more collaborations and the possibility of Juleigh being hosted in California for some speaking engagements with Dr. Walsh.
